Why a Different Approach?

We started Blueprint over a decade ago out of our shared passion for strategic planning and our frustration with how it is done traditionally

Traditional strategic planning is no longer enough to create transformational operations and cultural change. When we stripped strategic planning down to its simplest elements, it really just answers two questions: “Where are you going?” and “How will you get there?” We realized that these should be questions two and three in a three-question process. The first question – which is “Who are you as an organization?”– is either not asked or the process for answering it is so superficial that it renders the answer meaningless. We firmly believed that there must be a way to get people so inspired by a plan that they are actually compelled to implement it. Blueprint was created to answer that need.

HOW BLUEPRINT IS DIFFERENT – AND BETTER

  • Your six Blueprinting sessions are a rare opportunity to take time out and focus on your business. No distractions, no excuses.
  • Between sessions, your team is given time and space to absorb the learnings and start rethinking their assumptions.
  • The process pushes you to rethink every aspect of your organization, aligning it to a single unifying position. It’s all about getting to know your own business.
  • An honest, third party perspective will change the way you view your operations, communications and culture. What’s working? What isn’t? As outsiders, we pull no punches.
  • Our informal approach encourages honesty and creativity. Valuable insights emerge when the pressure to conform is removed.
  • The final outcome is a Unifying Proposition that’s clear and straightforward. You’ll leave with a new perspective, ready to put it into practice immediately.

WE ALSO DO PUBLIC SPEAKING

Whether you are in retail, business to business, business to consumer, professional services or philanthropy, engaging Blueprint’s founders to speak at your conference, convention or corporate event will give your attendees entertaining insights into what it takes to survive and thrive in today’s uncertain business environment.
