Branding: Companies that are hits and those that missed the mark

Ever wonder why some brands become iconic and manage to transcend generations and cultures while others seem to flounder?

The difference lies in a company’s ability to define who it is at its very core and communicate this effectively and consistently to its target market in a meaningful way. Communications need to go beyond just price and features, they need to provide consumers emotional benefits in addition to the functional ones.
