This post features Blueprint’s latest CTV interview with Amanda Blitz, which aired Sunday, March 22.

In recent years, on-demand programming, mobile technology and digital streaming have completed altered the way television is viewed and purchased. Apple’s latest offering, live-steaming television channels that were previously only available through traditional cable providers, through AppleTV, is another game changer.

As iTunes did to the music industry, Blueprint believes this latest Apple venture will threaten the business models of cable providers, triggering a downward slide in their revenue streams unless they reinvent themselves. Something we can all get onboard with is Coca Cola’s newest initiative, “Upcycling”. Coke, like many other CPG brands, has been battling declining sales in recent years as people turn away from products containing sugar and artificial sweeteners. In what could be a game changing move, the brand has developed a new recycling program, wherein they supply reusable caps that transform the soda bottles into tools, cleaning supplies and toys for children as examples. The program is launching in Southeast Asia first and we hope it comes to North America soon! Check out Coke’s advertisement introducing the concept here.
