What’s Wrong With This Corporate Video?

While it is obviously satirical – and quite funny – this corporate video is a symptom of a common problem in business: in the absence of a clear, concise and compelling understand of “who you are” as an organization, the outward expression of the company through branding, marketing and sales is bland, generic and undifferentiated.

We will be addressing this and related issues at the Art Of Sales conferences in Toronto January 26 (along with Mitch Joel and Daniel Pink) and Vancouver on February 5 (along with Mark Bowden and Daniel Pink).  If you are in Toronto or Vancouver on either of these dates, we invite you to attend to hear these international speakers (and us!) talk about unique approaches strategy, branding, marketing and sales.

In our presentation, we will be discussing three topics from our book, “Why Should I Choose You?” (answering the single most important question in business in 7 words or less):

  • The value of clarity
  • What you’re selling isn’t what your customers are buying
  • What business are you really in?

Hope you can join us either in Toronto or Vancouver!

Thanks to our friends at Dissolve for permission to use their promotion video.
