Over 400 leaders have used Blueprinting
to galvanize their people around a shared vision
that empowers them to make better decisions
Leaders often share these frustrations, even if they keep it to themselves:
- Uninspired employees who are paying lip service to the plan
- Unaligned, siloed executives
- Communcations that are unfocused and unpersuasive
- A board that is unsupportive
- External partners that are unenthusuastic
Just one of these factors will seriously impare a CEOs ability to lead. All five are a recipe for disaster that will live in your head 24/7!
If this is how you feel, a Blueprint inspires everyone to buy into a shared vision that empowers them to make better decisions.
Over 400 leaders have used the simple, 3-step Blueprinting process to inspire people – employees, leadership teams, boards, vendors and partners – to unite behind a shared purpose. Here's how Blueprinting works:
1. Purpose
We start by defining your organization's purpose in 7 words or less. This clear, concise and compelling expression becomes the strategic filter that guides everything your organization does and says. For your executive team, every one of your employees and your board, your purpose guides every decision they make and every action they take. This ensures that all of the activities of the company are working in unison toward a common goal – your purpose!
2. Business Architecture
We use your purpose statement to design and guide everything you do. We hold it up to every material part of your business and ask, “Is this part aligned with your purpose?” If it is, that’s great and we don't touch it. If it isn’t, we determine how that part of your business needs to shift in order to be in alignment with your purpose. This is how we get every part of your operations working in unison towards a common goal.
3. Purpose Story
Once we have taken care of the substance of your organization – its Business Architecture – we use your purpose to create your Purpose Story. You will use your Purpose Story to guide everything that your company says, both externally and internally, including the development of your branding, marketing and sales, advertising, digital development, employee communications, investor relations and board communications. The Purpose Story enables people who promote the organization and its products/services to communicate their full value for the first time.
At the end of the Blueprint process, you will have
- A clear, concise and compelling purpose – expressed in 7 words or less – that empowers people to make better decisions
- Buy-in from your employees, Board, shareholders, vendors and external stakeholders
- All of the "parts" of your business working in unison towards a common goal
- Communication about the organization that is clear, concise and compelling
